Speeding Along

I have one Speedway Sock complete:



It was very quick since the pattern was easy to memorize and I did them on 4 needles. They still need a bit of tugging to get on, so I'm going to have to figure out a way to tweak the pattern a bit for my Sockapalooza pal. Adding more ribbing would make sense, but I want the chevrons to remain the focal part.

I'm going to pick up some new yarn today at Elann.com. This afternoon they are debuting a new cotton/linen blend called Camila, and I'm hoping to use it for the Sangria skirt. I really want to try bamboo yarn, but Elann's prices are hard to resist!
